Overview
The curse falls on the sin, not finally on the men, and is fulfilled as Simeon is absorbed within Judah and Levi is dispersed throughout the land. Remarkably, God later turns Levi's scattering into honor as the priestly tribe set among all Israel, showing grace can redeem judgment. Even a curse for sin becomes, by God's mercy, a means of service, foreshadowing how God brings good out of judgment in Christ.
