Two further pilgrim feasts mark the agricultural year, calling Israel to thank God for the firstfruits and final harvest. These celebrations acknowledged that every crop came from the LORD's hand. The Feast of Weeks (Pentecost) later becomes the day the Spirit is poured out on the church, the firstfruits of the gospel harvest (Acts 2).
